Purpose: Introduction of the experience of using endoscopic ultrasonography in practice during non-epithelial formations of upper gastrointestinal tract.
Approaches to diagnostic, introduced types of findings and used equipment and tools are presented.
First experience of endoscopic intraluminal investigations under endoscopic ultrasonography control showed technical feasibility and efficiency of this procedure as an alternative method of diagnostic of non-epithelial formations of upper gastrointestinal tract in case of inaccessibility or inapplicability of other minimally invasive methods.
